As a member, you’ll enjoy seasonal access to sailing and/or windsurfing equipment, regattas, and discounted rentals, all supported by a team dedicated to safety, skill‑building, and fun.

Whether you're launching a Laser into a summer breeze or windsurfing along the shoreline, NUSC offers the perfect blend of outdoor challenge, relaxation, and community. All members complete a proficiency test on Laser and/or windsurfing equipment to ensure everyone enjoys a safe, confident, and unforgettable experience on the water.

Directions & Parking

We are located at 1823 Campus Drive (two blocks east of Sheridan Road and Chicago Avenue), next to the southeast corner of the double-deck parking structure.

Free parking is available in the double-deck parking lot adjacent to the Sailing Center on weekends and after 4:00pm on weekdays. At all other times, the display of a parking permit is required.

Daily permits may be purchased at the Parking Office.
