Ages 16 and Up.
Learn to Sail lessons are ideal for beginning sailors or as a refresher course. Instruction focuses on basic sailing skills, nomenclature, safety practices, rules of right of way, and rigging/derigging procedures. All adult sailing classes meet twice a week for four weeks. Every person taking an adult class will be given a free one-month membership, which is valid during the 4 week class period. Class schedules are subject to change according to demand. The Sailing Center reserves the right to cancel up to two class sessions per course due to inclement weather without scheduling makeup classes.

Refund and Transfer Policy
All refunds will include a nonrefundable $50 processing fee.
Participants who cancel 30+ days before the program start date will receive a full refund (minus the $50 processing fee).
Participants canceling 21+ days prior to the program start date will receive a 50% refund (minus the $50 processing fee).
No refunds will be given 20 or less days prior to the start date of the program.
Transfers will be considered on a case-by-case basis, pending program availability.
No transfer requests will be accepted less than 21 days before the class start date.
Private lessons offer one-on-one instruction for sailors of all levels who would like to improve sailing skills and techniques. Private sailing lessons can be taught on 420s, Lasers, and Hobie Cats.
